With the heats winding down towards the Semi-Final round, precious few opportunities are left to earn a chance at representing Perth in the nationals or Australia in the World Championships being held in Myanmar in late September of this year. 

Saturday night saw another tight battle between seven singers looking to advance to the next round with not much separating around five of the entrants.

At the end of the night, we have advancing to the next round:

Renee - Black Velvet
Celeste - Somebody Bring Me Some Water
Beth - What's Going On

The three ladies gave strong performances on the night with songs that required it, well done.

Ok gentlemen, you will have a little catching up to do this week as there will be more talented ladies in the crowd. 

Get on down to South Street Ale House on Saturday night 27 May 2017 for Heat Four. The I-Sing Australia competition is gaining a groundswell of interest locally, nationally and internationally with other contestants, organisers, even judges keeping track of the goings on at the Hilton locale. Get there early, grab a bite to eat or have one of the tasty selections from the bar. Sarah and the rest of the staff are hospitable beyond their job description and Bruno runs a well respected venue that is family friendly. You never know ... one of the gentlemen advancing from Heat One just happened to be there for a meal on the night!! You could be "discovered".

Okay guys and gals, you have until Saturday to tune up and find your song, good luck, see you there. The Heat will proceed around 9pm with open karaoke from 8pm.

Market City Rocked on Saturday night With a free Saturday night up my sleeve for once, I ventured out to the  Market City Tavern  to catch a performance by  Amph/lett  (Divinyls) and  Bon's Salute  (AC/DC). After hearing bits about the bands for a few weeks leading up and I can't say I was disappointed in their performances. First up, Amph/lett featuring Tanya Harding on vocals flashed me back immediately to 1986 in New York where I had the pleasure of seeing the original Chrissy and crew for the only time. I-Sing Heat 2

Three Advance from South Street Ale House Heat 2 of the I-Sing Australia competition from South Street Ale House saw another three singers separate themselves from the pack and advance to the next round of judging. The margin was thin between the eight entrants on the night as each held their own during performances. The singers are competing for the right to advance to the West Australian State Championship, on to the Australian National titles and ultimately the I-Sing World Championship hosted by Myanmar in late September of this year. No Foo-ing around as the Fighters conquer Perth By ChuckE! Perth 21 January 2018 - Fans at nib Stadium in Perth on Saturday night had the pleasure of witnessing rock royalty when the Foo Fighters kicked off the Australia-New Zealand leg of their Concrete and Gold World Tour . The Fighters brought along Weezer , a headliner in their own right and both were supported by local act Cosmic Kahuna  .  After an energetic set from the aforementioned Cosmic ones...Weezer took the Stage...
